Why does my partnership report not show the coloured bars?
The lack of coloured bars printing is due to a setting in your web browser, as the images are HTML and Windows uses your browser to render and print these. If you use Internet Explorer, please launch it and then click Tools Internet Options, change to the Advanced tab and scroll down to the Printing section, and put a tick in the 'Print background colours and images' option. Once you click OK, TCS should then print the bars on the partnership report. (You may like to deselect this option again afterwards if you print from web pages regularly) .
Note: There is a bug in Internet Explorer 8 (
) that ignores this setting. Until Microsoft fix this you must use the Save As button on the Partnership report printing and save the html. Then open it and from the page setup select to 'Print Background Colors and Images'.
How do I use Play-cricket with TCS?
Go to the match menu, Play-cricket section.
First download the match. On this dialog you can search for the fixture and these settings will remain next time you download the game. If you start scoring, you are then presented with the new match wizard which will fill in the selected players etc.

Once the match is completed you can upload to play-cricket using the upload option. You will be warned if players are new to play cricket, these may be set to unsure on the play-cricket site, so it is worth looking there once you have uploaded.

Windows 8.1 issue.
We use version 2.0 of the .NET Framework in order to ensure compatibility with older versions of Windows. In theory subsequent versions are backwardly compatible, but it seems that Microsoft have changed the rules again with Windows 8.1 (we have many users on Windows 8 with no problems). That said there does appear to be a solution.
Click here for Microsoft web page explaining this
The relevant section is also stated here: You can also enable the .NET Framework 3.5 yourself through Control Panel. In Control Panel, choose Programs and Features, choose Turn Windows features on or off, and then select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) check box. This option requires an Internet connection. You do not need to select the child items for Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) HTTP activation unless you are a developer who requires WCF script and handler mapping functionality. When printing any report it is possible to generate a PDF file that can then be emailed. TCS recommends downloading cutePDF which is free:
